A Little Bit About Me!
I received my Real Estate License in the Fall of 2010 after a 22 year career in the Hotel Industry in various capacities - but mainly human resources. Working in the hospitality industry for so long made me aware of the needs of clients. A skill I still use today in my Real Estate career.
I have lived in Georgina since 1984 and have been very involved in community events and volunteering. Including: Georgina Minor Hockey House League Team Trainer/Manager for approximately 10 years. Assistant Soccer Coach, Boy Scout Beaver Leader for 2 years and Keswick High School Parent Council Member for 4 years (3 years as Chair).
I have been a proud supporter of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation and specifically Sandgate Women's Shelter in Georgina for many years. A portion of my commission from each home sale goes to Sandgate to assist women and children who have escaped a violent home..
I have been a member of the Georgina Chamber of Commerce since 2011 and a member of their Board of Directors since 2012. I am currently the Board of Directors Chair and have also been the Board Treasurer and Marketing Committee Chair. Being a member of the Chamber has given me numerous connections in the community to know where to go for services and/or products which is a benefit to myself and my clients.
